Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi readers, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, if you celebrate the holiday.

I wish I could present to you on this day the gift of my writing, but I cannot give that. This time is incredibly busy, and I am terribly behind on Becoming. Part of it is due to my studies, part is due to my laziness, and part is due to a slight bit of writer's block. Of course, I know where the story is going, but I'm a little stumped on the moving action.

As I don't want to force myself to write because then I won't be happy with it, I am going to be bringing the chapters late.

I hope to have two to three chapters posted within the next two weeks, but we'll see how that goes. I hope to get some alone time with my computer over the next few weeks. I ask all of you to stay with me, please don't give up on Becoming. Support my story and I will continue to work on it.

Anonymous said...: I've been following both your stories for months now, but I have to tell you that your current update schedule is driving me off. I'm looking for something that I can count on and enjoy. While your writing isn't perfect its enjoyable, but the lack of updates isn't.

Arielle said...: Thanks for the comment, Anonymous. I know the update schedule is a little off now. I really wish that I could post a new chapter every week. I actually wish I could post two per week, but this book is being difficult and taking more time to write than I actually have time for. I am continuing to update Bitten weekly, because I have much written for it already. Please continue to enjoy that, and I hope that if you have been driven off of Becoming that you at least stay for Bitten. I hope to begin regularly updating Becoming again after finals, but you can always come back once it is finished and read it in its entirety. I would say I'm about halfway through Becoming the Avenger, and once I get more written I will post it right away.

I apologize for the delay and irregularity in my updating schedule.

This blog is in the form of a serialized web novel updated each Thursday.

Please Comment! I need your comments to make Becoming better. Let me know your reactions to my writing, if I use too much foreshadowing and you guessed the ending, if you thing dialogue sounds stunted and corny, or if you actually liked it. I decided to title the collection of three books Becoming, with the first book (which is finished) to be titled "Becoming the Monster," the second book (which is currently in progress) is titled "Becoming the Hunter," and the third book (not yet written) will be called something along the lines of "Becoming the Avenger(s)."

This is being written as I go, so it is in a somewhat rough form. Expect a few minor typos and errors. If it is something that is glaringly obvious, please comment or e-mail me and I will fix it right away.

Again, e-mail me or comment to give me feedback. I want to know what YOU think! Even if you don't like it, I need all the feedback that I can get. Pleasepleaseplease comment, even if it's just to say, "Hey, I read it!" I want to know who is reading my blog and what they think.
